In Memory of Benja

Drew these today in memory of my dog Benja, as it's been exactly a year since she passed on.
She was a happy dog and loved to play. There is not a day she wouldn't visit me in my thoughts, and I will always love her and miss her dearly - Today, and the years to come.

In Memory of Benja

It's been a while. Life's been hitting hard, so haven't exactly had the energy to draw.
14th of June my dear dog Benja passed away. Luckily I made it in time back to Finland to spend some time with her.
I sketched this in Ireland, while waiting for the day of my flight. It was agonizing not to be by her side, especially once I found out that she didn't have much time left. I only had enough energy to finish this last night.

So, as you may have already figured out, this is dedicated to my dear friend and family member Benja. Unfortunately my drawings of her can never match how cute and beautiful she was.
I still don't know how I'm going to live without her.

I can only hope the pain will start fade away eventually and that I'll have energy to continue my life without her. And hopefully it'll become easier to draw again.
